SPAR seeks partners including the donor partners who would be like-minded, pro-people and who believe in potentiality, skill and experience of people. They would work in network for empowerment and holistic development of the poor people specially of women and other backward class section of our community through participatory process. They would facilitate people’s action to ensure their rights and capacitate people’s organisation and people to make them more self-reliant and self-supported to undertake their own development initiatives. Such partners would also address/accompany people to address the burning issues concerned with their lives and livelihood. They would be competent/would support SPAR to address : Human/women’s rights, gender equity and emancipation of women, tribal development, local self governance including Panchayati Raj Institutions, promoting and strengthening people’s organisation and SH Groups, environment and ecology, societal peace, food security, sustainable agriculture, health and sanitation, mother & children’s care, education, advocacy and alliance building to protect people’s interest, globalisation, water and any other issue local/regional/national which may pose a threat to the people at any juncture of time. Partners would maintain mutual respect, equality, democratic principles and foster mutual understanding and solidarity, mutual transfer of knowledge, experience and information and forge ahead for a collective development endeavours. |
