Dr. Anand Chandu Lal :
President of the Governing Body of SPAR. Erstwhile Bishop of Amritsar Diocese and Moderator of CNI. An inspiring personality, a deeply committed philanthropist, he is associated with a number of social and cultural organisations of India and abroad.
 
Sailesh Chakravarty:
A dreamer in heart, organisational and human potentiality developer by Vocation, Sailesh, a name uttered in the Indian NGO world with deference, imbibes in him the ideology and culture of participatory values. With training in organisational, behaviour in London, his vast experience and expertise in this field both conceptual and practical, for twenty years in different positions is an asset for SPAR of which he is the Director. His role and relationship with national and international network of pro-people NGOs as a facilitator and friend keeps him always engrossed and engaged in ideas and activities. As a facilitator and development guide to a large number of NGOs he visited Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, South Africa, Switzerland, France, Mayanmar Nepal, Bangladesh and other places. A charming personality, he is the source of inspiration not only to the people of SPAR but to many other NGOs and individuals. He has miles to go, promises to keep.
 
Dr. Ranjana Ray
An erudite professor of Anthropology (Calcutta University) she counsels and guides a number of research scholars specially to enrich and enhance knowledge and information relating to overall development of marginalised people in the rural area. Associated with a good number of NGOs and pro-people institutions, she represented South East Asia in an international anthropological conference in Beijing sometime back. With intensive interaction and experience at micro and macro level, she also organised and attended a number of seminars and meetings on human development and allied topics. Vice-President of the Governing Body of SPAR, she emanates dedication and commitment to the normal'people's cause, to humanity.
 
Basudeb Deb
An experienced development planner and thinker he had been associated for a long with the pro-people activities from the grassroots level to the national sphere in different capacities. With a solid background of an administrator, Mr. Deb dwells freely in different aspects of community development. A resource person of literacy campaign, human rights management and coordination with knowledge about panchayat and government rules and practices, he offers legal and managerial counsel to NGOs, edits journals on development and culture. A reputed litterateur with a number of awards,with idea and the organisation for a better society. Once a magistrate of the state govt. he is now Executive Advisor of SPAR.
 
Tapan Mandal
An idealist, with exceptional organising skill, Tapan is a young development activist working directly with the people in more than hundred villages. He organises people against all injustices and exploitations and implements people oriented economic, social and cultural activities to make the marginalised people self reliant and useful to the society. He is now a guiding force in the district of Howrah in the field of rural development recognised by the Govt. Panchayats and the people at large. A charming personality, the driving force of a reputed NGO. Agragati in Howrah, West Bengal, he was recently honoured with the prestigious commonwealth award of international recognition.
 
Ashoke Chakravarty: 
An economist with a Trade Union background and pro-people bias, Ashok is an expert on popular economy, documentation and reporting relating to peoples organisations and their activities. He was head of the Deptt. of Economics in a Calcutta College. He facilitates on globalisation, its impact on our people's life, international relationship, micro and macro level economics etc. He contributes to leading journals and is associated with a number of social and cultural organisation.
 
Rabindranath Middey
Deputy Director of the organisation. A hard-core, sincere and committed worker,Rabin has specialised in business management and management of financialsystem of NGOs. One of the author person of SPAR he has an experience of more than 20 years in pro-people development activities. He facilitates on Accounts and Book keeping, monitoring and evaluation of NGO partners and takes keen interest in strengthening Peoples Organizations.
 
Awadh Kishor Singh:
An energetic young man with Post Graduate Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Development of XISS, at Ranchi. Awadh Kishore is the Co-ordinator of Development Education Unit of SPAR. He conducts development training programmes for trainers and NGO workers in India and Bangladesh. He also facilitates the capacitation programme of good numbers of network partners. He is committed to ensure qualitative enhancement of the potentialities of development workers and actors. An expert in PPP and PSP, he is one of the core group.
