A pioneer in social and cultural work, Agragati is now engaged in all round development of the rural poor through participatory ideology. Process monitoring, trainings and seminars are being organised by the members of P.O. in different villages on regular basis. Their members are taking up people's plan for implementing and steps for mobilising resources for the purpose.

People's Organisation in the villages is monitoring the development activities in the villages. They are conducting different type of capacitation programmes in the villages. The women in this area have regained their self-confidence and self-dignity. They are also trying to make extra income so that the children can be sent to the schools instead of working as child labourers. The initiatives of the women and their success, as well as unity among them have altered the attitude of the men in the villages.
