SPAR has, by now, earned the confidence, trust and support of the referral people network partners and members of the civil societies in its working area. Specific points to mention :
- Facilitation and capacitation of people’s organisation in
686 villages.
- Network and development support to 21 grassroots level organizations,
working in 284 villages and 1 municipality, of 5 regions in Orissa, Jharkhand and West Bengal.
- Development education/training to members of 400 NGOs of Bangladesh, Nepal and India.
- PACS (Poorest Area Civil Society) programmes in 70 villages in
7 districts of Jharkhand.
- Integrated Nutrition & Health Project (INHP III) in
11 blocks of Mayurbhanj in Orissa and 5 blocks of
East Singbhum in Jharkhand.
- Acting as Mother NGO (MNGO) in 5 blocks of Coochbehar under Reproductive Child Health Programme (RCH-II).
- Total Sanitation Programme and Tribal Development Programmes in 84 villages implemented in Jharkhand (Ghatsila project) and in Coochbehar.
- Women’s empowerment programme through women organisations in Patharpratima,
Ghatsila project and in other regions.
- Non formal education centres among tribals in Orissa and Jharkhand.
- SGSY Programme 2407 Self Help Groups organized in five regions.
- Integrated village planning programme implemented in 92 villages (Dumuria block) of Ghatsila project.
- Accredited Social Health Activist(ASHA) programme
in 125 villages in 2 blocks of Coochbehar.
- Network activities (mainly advocacy and alliance building) as FCFC partner.
- OXFAM programme (on education) being implemented successfully at Monoharpur in Jharkhand.
- Land shaping and rainwater harvesting implemented in Patharpratima.
- Child protection programme including child education programme in three blocks of Coochbehar.
